FAQ

Q. How is your program so different from the others?

A. Our program is not like a typical gym. We want you to get results and we will put you with the program that will get you the best results possible. Our bootcamp classes are not like the ones that you see on the biggest loser, and not the ones that you would find at the community fitness center. We use science and EXPERIENCE to put together the best bootcamp training program in Bloomington.

Q. What is the difference between a Boot camp and personal training session?

A. Bootcamp classes are larger training sessions using fat burning timed intervals. The program is able to accommodate all fitness levels due to the unique level system of progressions and regressions for every exercise. Personal training sessions are geared to meet your exact need. We will use a mix of strength training, core training and interval training to get you your results.

Q. I am not in the best of shape; will I be able to do this?

A. YES!! As the professionals we are here to serve you. We base the program off of your fitness level, so if you are in bootcamp or personal training your program will be right for you.

Q. How do I stay motivated?

A. Motivation is a huge factor in getting to your fitness goals, so we will ask you to set clear goals along the way. That way we can continue to see progress! We will give you every tool you need to get there. We know that some days you will need some extra motivation and we are here to help on those days as well.

Q. Will I get bored doing this?

A. You will have different planned and specifically designed workouts throughout a week. We write a new program every month for every individual client to help you get to your fitness goals when doing personal training. Bootcamp workouts rotate throughout the week and a new program of workouts is written each month!

Q. Do you guys help with nutrition and supplements?

A. Yes! New members are given access to all of our nutrition information and we will cover the important points with you. 1x each month we will hold a nutrition seminar for all of our members to attend that can help you learn the answers to more pressing questions that come up. We want you to get the results you want and will do what it takes to get you there.

Q. How long are workouts?

A. Bootcamp workouts are exactly 45 minutes long so that you can get in and out. Personal training sessions are based on results, generally you will be training for 1 hour while some days it may be slightly longer than that and some days it maybe slightly less. It will depend greatly upon your need for rest in a session.

Sports Performance FAQs

Q. Will athletes get faster in your program?

A. Our program is a complete athletic development program: meaning we work on all aspects of being the best athlete you can be. Strength, speed, agility, are all among those but so is the ability to outlast your opponent, and stay healthy while playing.

Q. How old do you have to be to be in the sports performance program?

A. We have athletes as young as 11 in our programs and although their programs look a lot different than the ones our elite college and high school athletes use we have had plenty of young athletes progress into becoming some of our best high school athletes. To us it is about long term athletic development, and training the right way at every stage of life!

Q. Do younger athletes lift weights?

A. Younger athletes focus on movements and getting stronger with their own bodyweight. Introduction to using free weights occurs during the 8th grade year for most athletes as they prepare for high school athletics. This way they are well equipped to participate in mandatory weight training for their high school sports.

Q. What if I am am already doing strength training with my high school program?

A. Many of our high school athletes have team requirements for workouts. During the assessment process we try to find out as much as possible about your high school program, and will go so far as to talk to your high school coaches to learn more. In this way we can design the perfect program for you and get the best results possible.
